About Us

For an almost CO₂-free heat supply in the Hanover districts, we want to use geothermal energy as a natural energy source and are planning to build a geothermal plant

There is a real treasure slumbering under our feet that we want to raise for more climate protection: geothermal energy. As a natural source of energy, it is an important building block for the energy transition.

1,100 meters in depth

We will start with our power plant from

01.03.2024.

A good third of the first borehole has been completed – the planned end of the next borehole section, the so-called tailings depth, was reached at a depth of 1,100 metres. While the first 200 meters were more characterized by sand and gravelly rock, the drill then had to work its way through increasingly clayey layers
